Meet the Past President

Rachel Hulse – Pocatello

Rachel Hulse is an Associate Professor and Department Chair for Medical Laboratory Science at Idaho State University (ISU), having served as the Program Director for the Medical Laboratory Science program for approximately nine years. She holds an EdD in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in higher education administration from Idaho State University, an MLS(ASCP)cm, and two MS degrees in Genetics and Biotechnology from Brigham Young University and the University of Utah, where she also earned her BS in Medical Technology Summa Cum Laude

Her professional roles at ISU include serving as the Director of Health Sciences Strategic Initiatives and teaching advanced courses in Immunology, Molecular Diagnostics, Hemostasis, and Phlebotomy.  Dr. Hulse was awarded the Kole McGuffy Award for her outstanding educational and clinical research contributions.
