1. PURPOSE

- Communicate legislative and regulatory issues to membership
2. TERM OF OFFICE
3. QUALIFICATIONS

- ASCLS Professional or Emeritus membership
- Recommended experience: Understanding of legislative process, public speaking, and networking skills
4. DUTIES
-
- Communicate legislative issues. Establish contact network and respond promptly to legislative alerts
- Other duties performed: Attendance at Legislative Days
5. EXPECTATIONS

- Meeting Attendance: Board meetings as necessary
- Reports: Reports as necessary to the Board and a final report at the end of the year
- Deadlines: N/A
- Average time commitment: 1 to 2 hours per month
- Travel: Board meetings, conventions, Legislative Days
- Financial considerations: Convention registration fees
