Letter from the Editor:
With this newsletter, I have continued to experiment with the use of graphics and color to make the newsletter visually appealing and interesting to read. At the request of our President, Jenny Street, I have also added a few animated graphics! I am not going to tell you which ones they are: if you want to see them, you will have to log onto the ASCLS website, www.asclsidaho.org . Then, select the heading NEWS AND EVENTS, then select newsletters, Fall 2007. Or, go directly  to http://www.asclsidaho.org/IDdir/newsletter/fall2007ascls/index.html  I hope you like what you see!
I am planning to have the winter issue of the newsletter done in January 2008. That means it is not too early to start sending me articles!  I know someone out there must have gone to Jackson for the convention in September, so write me an article! Send me some pictures! My email address is dleernest@aol.com. Be aware when you send articles that I am using Windows XP and Microsoft Word 2003. I tell you this because I have already run into problems trying to open files written with Microsoft Word 2007.  If you have this newest version, any older version of word cannot open the file if you have saved your file in Word 2007's automatic save format.  You have to save your files under the"save as.." function and chose one compatible with older  versions of  word, such as plain text or Rich text. This will help me out greatly when trying to download articles!
Thanks so much  in advance for your input! I just know you will all make it your personal challenge to swamp my in-box!
