There were 147 participants in the 2010 Legislative Symposium from across the country, with many first-time attendees, and many students as part of the group. All of these attendees made visits to their respective legislators’ offices on Capitol Hill to speak to them or their staff members about the issues. Speakers from all the co-sponsoring organizations shared information about these issues that laboratorians face every day. I think all attendees would agree that 22nd annual ASCLS Legislative Symposium was a great success!
