2018 Spring Convention Theme

JUMP!

We are so excited to announce the theme for our 2018 ASCLS-Idaho Spring Convention.  Inspired by the brave souls who B.A.S.E. jump off of the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls, we have titled our convention JUMP!

The sport of B.A.S.E. jumping is parachuting or wingsuit flying from a fixed structure or cliff.  “BASE” is an acronym that stands for four categories of fixed objects from which one can jump: building, antenna, span, and Earth (or cliff).  Due to the lower altitudes of the jumps, BASE jumping is significantly more dangerous than skydiving from a plane. In the U.S., BASE jumping is currently regarded by many as a fringe extreme sport or stunt.

At our convention, the acronym B.A.S.E. stands for Be Brave, Act Now, Seek Challenges and Elevate Opportunities.  So many time we become complacent in our jobs.  We fail to take risks, to accept new challenges and are afraid to take extreme measures to get what we want from our career.  But it doesn’t have to be that way.    Join us in Twin Falls, April 19-21, and find out how you can get your career off the ground and take it to the next level.

B.A.S.E. Jumping from the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls is an exhilarating and awesome feat. While some people may say attending the 2018 ASCLS-Idaho Spring Convention cannot compare, we challenge you to JUMP! at the chance to attend and see if we can’t help you find the thrilling and adventurous side of your career again.
